higher education, beginning in the Middl
e Ages.
The Massachusetts Institute of Technology is probably
the most prestigious university in the technological
industry, best known for its research and high-quality
education in the engineering and physical sciences.
Historically, there have been some
exceptional people who influenced the
education systems in many countries
around the world.
In the USA, there is the
highest number of the most
prestigious universities,
mostly located on the east
or the west coasts, where
the largest American cities
are situated.
There are also a large number of private kindergartens that solve
the problem of the lack of public (free) institutions. Most of the
public kindergartens quickly fill their capacity so it's very difficult
to place children there. Parents are often forced to place their
children in a private kindergarten because they have to go to work
so they don't have enough time to take care of them.
One of the world's most influential
educators and pedagogues was John
Amos Comenius, the 17th-century
Czech teacher and author of many
educational and theological works.
Probably his most famous
book focused on education
is called "Didactica Magna".
He also spent many years
in the Netherlands and
Sweden where he promoted
his educational system -
universal education - and
advised the monarchs in
the education area.
In preschools, children learn primarily the most basic skills like reading,
