Annotation
Master thesis "Coping during the transition from first to second grade of elementary
school" deals with the transition from the first degree to the elementary school. The aim
of the thesis is to find ways to carry out the transfer from the first to the second level of
primary school and which types of schools are fewer and more convenient for the pupils
to adapt from the first to the second elementary school. This is related to the protective
factors of the school and especially to the class teachers, on the other hand, the adaptation
mechanisms of the pupils. The research part of this work is based on structured interviews
with class teachers of 6th grade pupils and questionnaire survey of 6th grade pupils.
The transition from the first to the second level of primary school is not given as much
attention, as access to elementary school or transition from primary to secondary school.
This often does not seem to concern much with the transition between these elementary
schools because it seems that the disciple remains in the same organization or in the same
building.
However, it is a transition between the level of education. The transition from the first to
the second grade may be even more complicated for the pupil than the transition from
elementary to secondary. That significantly could relate with the period of transition
