Characteristic of YouTuber

According to the book Já, Jůtuber (2015), the protagonist describes a YouTuber as a person who creates videos and publishes them on the YouTube website. Besides, the YouTube platform can be an option for several YouTubers how to earn money thanks to the earnings from advertisements or long-term trades.

From the view of society on the Internet, they are celebrities who focus on their target group and they try to help, inform, entertain, or influence viewers. Nowadays, they have a greater impact on the younger generation which prefer Internet trends to traditional TV celebrities (Petiška, 2014).
