with the help of Congress he passed a legislation for a food industry that developed well 

he realised that the food industry is careless about the quality of the food that offers 

he himself was very rich and had no problem to get food but he had wide visions 

people worked a lot in America, they didn’t want to cook every day and they wanted to do something quick 

he was aware of it but he realised that there had to be some limits 

­ he introduced a very serious sanitary legislation in terms of 

hygiene 

as the 1st one he made steps to check the quality of the food 

he realised that if people had eaten bad food they would get sick
